Ines's Feedback
Thanks for all your opinions. Kaitlyn has explained the conclusion and ppt part, so I just skip them. About the content, Kaitlyn and I has already thought that we should not present it like introducing the food, we revised many times, added historical and geographical effects. However, some of you still think that we were introducing food. I have the same question as Kaitlyn: Which part do you think that is non cultural related?

About organization, I have to apologize. I was too nervous to get stuck and my brain went blank when I was presenting Japanese cuisine. Maybe my presentation was too messy to make you think that it's not well-organized.

And about #15 comment, thanks a lot. We did not think of this when we discussed. Maybe next time we can think more.

Kaitlyn's Feedback

Thanks for your opinions and comments. First, I have to apologize for my fast speaking. I will keep this in mind and slower down next time! And about the ppt, we used black background with blue words only in our references pages, so I think the influences would't be that much. But thanks for pointing out, we will be more careful next time. And I'm really sorry for the short conclusion. Honestly, we forgot to prepare this part, so I just said whatever came to me at that moment. As for the content, Ines and I did try to think about how to deepen our presentation than just introducing food. That's why we also talked about something like historical and geographical effects, table manners, and eating etiquette, etc. But maybe we should have done more comparison with our chinese eating culture. And about our definition of culture, I do think it has something to do with cultural issue. Could you tell me which part you think has a problem or is not cultural related?
And here's my reply for Molly's question " What do Italians eat during New Year?"
On New Year's Eve, families and friends gather together for a huge feast and the star of dinner is lentils, sybolizing money and good fortune for the coming year. Traditionally, the dinner in many parts of Italy also includes a larged spiced sausage or a stuffed pig's trotter. The pork symbolized the richness of life in the coming year.
Thank you all again for your advice =)
